Lucky Boom

Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer Policy (the "Policy"): how Lucky Boom (run at luckysboom.nl by MAIREKE LIMITADA, a Costa Rican company licensed by the Anjouan Offshore Financial Authority) stops money laundering, terrorist financing and related financial crime. Every player, transaction and account at luckysboom.nl is covered. By registering and playing you confirm you have read, understood and accepted it.

1. Rules of the game

Lucky Boom plays under a licence from the Anjouan Offshore Financial Authority. International AML/CFT (Counter Financing of Terrorism) standards and our licence conditions require proportionate controls to detect, prevent and report activity that could be money laundering or terrorist financing.

This Policy:

It covers all employees, contractors and third-party providers working for Lucky Boom, and all registered players at luckysboom.nl.

2. Glossary

3. Risk levels

Each player and transaction gets a risk level, and the checks match it. Not everyone is checked equally hard, but everyone passes at least standard CDD before a withdrawal is approved.

Risk depends on factors such as:

At higher risk we apply EDD and may ask for more documents before processing a withdrawal or continuing service.

4. Standard checks (KYC)

4.1 What triggers KYC

We can request identity documents at any time after registration, and full KYC is always needed before a withdrawal is approved. Verify early so cash-out is smooth. KYC may also start when:

4.2 Standard documents

Every player must provide:

4.3 Selfie and liveness check

We may ask for a selfie with your ID, or a liveness check, to confirm that the person sending the documents is the one on the ID and the account holder.

4.4 Sending documents

Upload documents in your account profile or email them to support@luckysboom.nl. 24/7 live chat can guide you live. Documents must be readable, unaltered and complete; anything that looks edited, cropped or tampered with may be rejected.

4.5 Result and timing

We process standard KYC fast. With complete documents, verification normally fits our payout approval window of two business days. If we need more, we contact you. During an open review, withdrawals wait for KYC to finish.

5. Boss-level checks (EDD)

For higher-risk players or transactions we apply EDD. It is a legal and regulatory duty, not a penalty. On top of CDD it may require one or more of:

5.1 Source of funds (SOF)

We may ask where your gambling money came from. Acceptable proof includes:

5.2 Source of wealth (SOW)

For very high volumes, or when overall wealth deserves a look, we may ask for Source of Wealth documents: broader than SOF, showing how you built your assets, not only where the deposit came from.

5.3 PEP and sanctions screening

All players are screened against PEP lists and international sanctions databases at registration and continuously. A PEP or sanctions match triggers EDD automatically. Lucky Boom may refuse or close the account of anyone on a sanctions list or with unacceptable PEP risk.

5.4 High-value players

Players using the High Roller Bonus (deposits of €500 or more) or nearing the weekly withdrawal cap of €20,000 or the monthly cap of €50,000 for non-jackpot wins get closer monitoring. For jackpot wins, which are outside the monthly cap, extra source-of-funds proof may be needed before full payout.

6. Always-on monitoring

KYC isn't one-and-done. We watch every account for as long as you play, including:

If monitoring shows activity that does not fit your profile or looks suspicious, the account goes to internal review, and withdrawals or play may be paused during investigation.

7. Suspicious activity and reports

7.1 Internal reports

Any compliance or operations team member who spots or suspects money laundering, terrorist financing or related crime must report it at once to the MLRO via the internal SAR procedure. The MLRO assesses it and decides on an outside disclosure.

7.2 Outside disclosure

If the MLRO finds reasonable grounds for suspicion, a report goes to the right financial intelligence unit or regulator, as our Anjouan licence and international standards require, without telling the player (the "tipping-off" rule).

7.3 No tipping off

Tipping off is strictly banned. No employee, contractor or representative may tell a player or anyone else that a SAR or AML investigation exists. A breach is a serious disciplinary matter and may be a crime.

7.4 Red flags

Examples that can lead to a review or a SAR (not a full list):

8. Third-party payments

We do not accept deposits from, or pay out to, payment methods that don't belong to the registered account holder. Deposits must come from a method in the holder's name, and withdrawals go back to the same method where possible.

If names do not match, we ask for Proof of Banking Option documents before processing. Persistent use of third-party methods, or no satisfactory explanation, can lead to suspension and escalation to the MLRO.

9. Records

KYC documents, transaction records, account logs and SAR-related records are kept for at least five years from the last transaction, or longer if our licence or the law requires. They are stored securely and available to the MLRO and compliance team for audit and reporting.

KYC data is handled under our Privacy Policy: we collect only what's necessary, keep it only as long as needed and use it only for compliance, fraud prevention and providing our services.

10. Player promises

By registering at luckysboom.nl you confirm and promise that:

11. Penalties for non-compliance

If a player doesn't provide satisfactory KYC documents in reasonable time, or an account poses unacceptable AML or fraud risk, Lucky Boom may take any or all of these steps:

We act in good faith and, where possible, let you fix a documentation issue before irreversible steps. When the law requires immediate action, such as a confirmed sanctions match, we may act at once and without notice.

12. Pause button and AML

AML and responsible gambling work side by side. If monitoring shows signs of problem gambling (more frequent deposits, big deposits then distressed withdrawal requests, or play beyond means), we share that with our responsible gambling team. Likewise, responsible gambling signals can start an AML review, for instance when a player says they can't afford losses but makes high-value deposits.

To set limits, take a break or get help, contact our 24/7 support team by live chat or at support@luckysboom.nl any time.

13. Training

Every employee and contractor who handles accounts, transactions or compliance gets AML and KYC training for their role: spotting suspicious activity, internal reporting, the tipping-off ban and this Policy. Given at the start and refreshed regularly.

14. Updates

Our compliance function reviews this Policy at least yearly, and sooner if licence conditions, the law or our risks change. The current version is at luckysboom.nl and replaces earlier ones. Check back sometimes.
